What time of day do flights take place?
We fly at sunrise, when winds are calmest, temperatures are cooler, and conditions are safest. Morning light also makes for stunning photos as the sun rises over the Georgia countryside.

During the Fall and Winter months, we do offer sunset rides as well.

How high will we go?
Most flights reach between 500 and 2,000 feet above the ground. Your exact altitude will depend on weather and wind conditions, but every flight offers beautiful panoramic views of Madison, Georgia, and the surrounding areas.

Can children fly?
Yes! Children ages 7 and older are welcome to fly with us at the parent or guardian’s discretion. This age guideline ensures younger passengers can safely see over the basket edge and follow the pilot’s instructions.

How many people can ride in one balloon?
We can typically carry 2–6 passengers per flight, depending on the combined weight of all riders. If you have a larger group, we can arrange multiple flights to accommodate everyone.

What should I wear for a hot air balloon ride?
Dress for the temperature at the time of launch. In Georgia, mornings can be cool — especially in Spring and Fall — so layers are best. Closed-toe shoes are required for safety. Avoid loose scarves or dangling items. We typically take off from or land in a field, so wear shoes you don't mind getting dewy!

What happens if the weather is bad?
Hot air balloon flights are 100% weather dependent. We will not fly in unsafe conditions such as strong winds, rain, storms, or poor visibility. If your flight is canceled due to weather, you can reschedule for another date at no additional cost.

Is it safe to fly in a hot air balloon?
Absolutely. All of our flights are conducted by FAA-certified pilots, and our balloons are maintained to meet or exceed all safety regulations. Safety is our highest priority, and we will only fly when conditions are right.
